My personal favorites are when they refuse to give up and start coming up with even worse insults...
Things like 'you're dumb' or 'what kind of an idiot wears a hat like that?' It's especially amusing when their insults are clearly untrue. Someone once called me fat, despite the fact that I'm so skinny that my ribcage is visible!
